Young Pianist Nikolay Khozyainov's Performance

On March 31, 2015 Russian Ambassador to the US together with The Embassy Series program hosted a musical event at his Residence featuring young pianist Nikolay Khozyainov. 22-year-old performing artist from Blagoveshensk played difficult pieces from Chopin, Tchaikovsky, Liszt and Rachmaninoff. Brilliant technique, style and musicality far beyond his years left no one indifferent.
The Founding Directors, Jerome and Lisette Barry, have been bringing artists from many countries to different Embassies in Washington DC for 20 years now. More than 75 foreign missions participate in the program and open their doors to locals and visitors. Concerts take place on a regular basis and are very popular in DC and beyond. The Barry think that their success is due to the “unique character of the project that unites people trough musical diplomacy”.
Having compared pianist’s age with the age of the The Embassy Series program, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the U.S. Sergey Kislyak wished Nikolay Khozyainov big success in Russia and internationally.
